Last fall, after spending some time with us at a Saturate conference in Poland, my friend Aaron Gibbs called me to tell me that he and his wife Megan were considering moving to Slovakia to join in what God is doing with church planting here.

Woohoo!

We connected the Gibbs to our friends in Zilina, Janci Mahrik and Za Kostolom, who are a little over one year into planting.  We also encouraged them to team up with the excellent Kompas crew (Josiah Venture Slovakia) who are doing hard and needed work with high school students.  [See pipeline post]

Aaron has been serving for many years at Soma Spokane.  Because of our common DNA it was so encouraging to begin to talk and pray and dream together.  And Megan is simply amazing.  We really look forward to having them here.

They just completed their final vision trip, spent mostly with their local church and the Kompas team in Zilina.
